Zap2it is hosting their very first awards! Now that the 2011-2012 television season is over, we’re taking a look at the best and worst of it all and letting you, our readers, vote on the moments that defined the TV year.

We kicked off our own personal awards season with a ‘shipper face-off, so if you haven’t voted for your favorite TV pairs, make sure to get your votes in.

This season, it was pretty trendy to put actors to work double-time. The “Fringe” fans saw some major twists in the alternate-universe versions of their characters. On “The Vampire Diaries,” Katherine and Elena pulled a couple bait-and-switch moves. And of course, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alexandra Chando starred as identical twins on “Ringer” and “The Lying Game.”

Here are the rules: You can only vote once per IP address. (So if you want to vote from home and from work, and from your little sister’s ipad, we’re not going to stop you.)
